Europe - Paris and Brussels

Earlier on in the year (April) i went on a school trip to Tyne cot, Brussels, Automium, Ghent, Counts Castle, Hill 60, Polly Gonwood, Passchendale museum, Belgium cemetery, vc Corner (fromelles), Viller Bretonneux, Ypres rennin gate, Flandersfields museum, Toronto avenue, The somme, and paris!

If your one to spend loads of money shopping paris and belgium are the places to be. I found a massive disney store in the centre of paris and its amazing. I'm a big frozen fan and managed to get myself a little toy olaf doll (about the size of your forearm)

It was such an amazing experience and i wouldn't trade it in for anything. i think the hardest thing for me is knowing what to pack.. i went for 10 days and by then end of it my bag weighed 27kg! it was amazing though

It was a western front tour and i recommend it to everybody! the main highlight was on a serious note Villers Bretonneux where we attended a dawn service which was so moving and lovely and something I've never seen on that big of a scale. On a non serious note i did go to paris disneyland and it gets talked up way to much. If you were going to paris i would recommend going there but i wouldn't go to paris just cause of disneyland.

Europe if so different to australia in a good way though, i mean i do love australia and would change but europe has such a sexy and romantic feel to it. You an be who you want where you want, nobody screws up there nose if there is two guys kissing and nobody cares what you wear, in my defence i did add a bit of assie to their culture (thongs with socks). The trains are above the roads and don't wait for you to get in before the doors close. If you don't try and make an effort with their french they find it disrespectful (i would be to) so i would practice some french before you leave if you plan on going there (Par-lay-voo onglay = do you speak english, wee- yes, non-no, combine- how much) that sort of thing.

You might be wondering, what do i pack? how much? will it be cold?
i was like that to and if you need help here it is:
if your going march/april/may time which is when i went i would pack
jeans, long sleeve tops, maybe 2 jumpers/jackets , a dress, and a lot of t shirts. Its very cold at night and in the mornings but around lunch time its gets pretty warm. The sun sets at like 9:30 ish and rises at 6 ish. Its pretty good cause it gives you time to shop.

And for the teens out there, there is an amazing energy drink in europe that is so much better than australias ones its called 'suxk' and wow its awesome
